Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a form of treatment commonly used to treat varicose veins or so-called spider veins. The procedure is non-surgical, requiring only an injection. It can also be used to treat blood and lymph vessel disorders that cause these vessels to form incorrectly.

Sclerotherapy is a great technique for treating spider veins, the thin red or purple veins on the skin’s surface. It can also be used to treat some small varicose veins, the swollen veins that may protrude slightly from the skin’s surface. During your procedure, we use tiny needles to inject an FDA approved medication directly into the vein, which irritates the lining of the vessel, causing it to scar and collapse. This forces the blood to reroute through healthier veins, while the damaged vein fades away over the next two to six months.

Laser Vein Removal

Laser technology can be used to treat unsightly surface veins on the face and body.  Best suited for small to medium sized veins, laser uses light energy to eliminate these small vessels and redirect blood flow to the proper deeper circulation. Laser treatment for small veins is non-invasive and creates no breaks or openings in the skin.
