Brow + Lash Tinting

Despite occupying a small amount of real estate on the face, brows and lashes have a major impact on the overall balance, symmetry and framing of our facial features. We offer this quick, simple no-downtime treatment as an add-on to our other aesthetician services. It’s a great, time-saving alternative to manually darkening and defining your lashes and brows one or more times a day.

Eyebrow and eyelash tinting involves carefully dying the lashes and brows with safe, natural tints to give them a more defined and darker appearance. Many different eyelash and eyebrow tint colors are available to perfectly complement your skin and hair coloring. Defined, well-groomed brows and lashes can give you a more youthful appearance that can last up to four to six weeks.

CooLifting

CooLifting is a revolutionary skin treatment modality that incorporates a proprietary hyaluronic acid containing serum delivered via ultra-low temperature CO2 high-velocity mist to the skin. The rapid drop in surface temperature invigorates the skin and stimulates blood flow while the pressure of the CO2 helps drive moisture in. The result is glowing vibrant skin. It’s the perfect pre-event procedure.

CooLifting works by using a carboxy spray to deliver a hydrating serum to problem areas of the skin. CooLifting can be done in just a few minutes and there is no downtime after your session. There is no pain with CooLifting and you can resume your normal skin regimen the next day.

What is CooLifting?

CooLifting is a new, safe, and painless procedure that provides a powerful blast of CO2 (carbon dioxide). The secret to the CooLift facial is microcirculation, which is achieved when the CO2 hits the dermis layer (top layer of the skin). This reaction induces collagen and elastin formation and increases the tissue oxygenation. Collagen and elastin are the body’s natural proteins which keep our skin looking youthful and supple. As we age, our body produces less of these proteins, so the CooLift facial essentially triggers our body to produce these natural proteins to make up for what has been lost due to age.

Jelly Masks

Electrolytes from algae are integrated in a hydrojelly mask to enhance your skin. The mask attempts to restore the skin's natural moisture balance, leaving it with a healthy, moisturized, and supple appearance. These Hydrojelly Masks have amazing calming and soothing properties, which are the ideal method to round out our current microdermabrasion treatment.

Cleaning your skin before using a Hydrojelly Mask will help to open up your pores. The HydroJelly solidifies after around 15-20 minutes, creating a vacuum seal that forces all the healthy components deep into the pores of your skin. We then peel it off, leaving little to no trace behind.

Fresh ingredients abound in the Hydrojelly Masks, which are encased in a moisturizing carrageenan foundation. A "jelly-like" mask called a hydrojelly mask offers the skin hydration, smoothness, moisturization, cleansing, exfoliation, cooling, toning, and inflammation reduction. Hydrojelly masks assist in promoting healthy skin, preventing pore clogging, and assisting with skin pigmentation.

Dermaplaning

A cosmetic procedure called facial dermaplaning uses a scalpel to delicately scrape the epidermis—the top layer of skin—and fine hairs from your face.

An experienced dermaplaner will use a medical-grade scalpel to scrape the skin's surface during the procedure. Usually, the procedure lasts between 15 and 30 minutes.

Dermaplaning can help reduce peach fuzz, exfoliates your skin, brighten the appearance of your skin, and it has no downtime whatsoever.

Galvanic Iontophoresis

Galvanic current, often known as direct current (DC), is a low-level, continuous current that flows in just one direction, much like the electricity produced by a battery. Galvanic treatments use this medium-level, low-level direct current to stimulate cells, move tissue fluid, soften blackheads, and penetrate substances deeply into the epidermis, among other skin advantages.

A water-soluble, ionized, positively (acid pH) or negatively (alkaline pH) charged fluid is either drawn into or repelled from the skin depending on the polarity used. This is accomplished by forming a circuit on the skin using a metal "active" electrode that is attached to the galvanic machine by a wire.

The next step is to clip, hold in the hand, or implant a "inactive" electrode on the wrist or arm or under the shoulder. Typically, a wet sponge or piece of gauze is placed over this electrode to improve conductivity and ensure the comfort of the user. In this case, a low-voltage circuit or loop is created, allowing the current to travel through the body in either a positive (+) to negative (-) or reverse direction. Any applied compounds are pulled, rather than pushed into the skin; penetration results from this attraction.

Some benefits of Galvanic are:

  • Tightens and firms tissues
  • Constricts follicles
  • Decreases blood flow and sensitivity
  • Attracts positive ions
  • And more

High Frequency

A common skincare procedure known as high frequency is used to treat a number of skin issues, such as managing acne, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles, and puffy or dark eyes.

A little electrical current flows through the glass electrode packed with neon or argon gas when it is applied to the skin, giving it a slight glow and buzzing sound. The electrodes emit either a neon red/orange or a violet/blue light, depending on the inert gas they are filled with.

The high frequency facial can be used to treat and prevent obstinate acne, minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, decongest puffy eyes, lighten dark under-eye circles, nourish hair follicles for healthy hair growth, and even revitalize the condition of the scalp.

Light-Emitting Diode Therapy

LED light therapy, or light-emitting diode therapy, is a skin rejuvenation treatment that exposes skin to different wavelengths of visible light to address a variety of skin conditions and boost overall radiance.

The nonthermal, low-level light penetrates skin without creating any trauma—unlike laser resurfacing, which relies on controlled microdamage to rejuvenate the skin.

The technology was first developed by NASA to grow plants in space, before the agency turned it on astronauts and found LED light therapy also promoted human tissue growth and wound-healing activity.

Our LED light treatments harness red or blue light. Each wavelength penetrates skin at a different depth, and treatments can use more than one color.

While the treatment can be performed on its own, it’s more frequently used in conjunction with other treatments or as one component of a facial.

Microcurrent

The use of Microcurrent therapy involves applying a low-grade electrical current to your face in order to "train" your facial muscles to help your skin appear more lifted, tightened, and contoured.  A distant cousin to TENS muscle stimulation devices that are used medically, microcurrent can help tone facial muscles and promote lymphatic drainage, resulting in a fresher, lifted appearance.  The procedures is also proven to increase the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in treated tissues, which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.

GuaSha

Face gua sha encourages blood circulation to the muscles, tissues, and organs, which helps to clear congestion from the skin and increase blood flow. The firm but gentle scraping motions promote lymphatic drainage to the face, neck, and décolleté, which detoxifies and aids in clearing sinus congestion. They also assist to prevent acne, dark skin pigmentation, and puffiness or dark circles under the eyes. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the energy known as qi can get obstructed and cause discomfort, puffiness, or tension in the face's muscles and joints as well as throughout the body. To ensure wellbeing and luminosity, qi must be in harmony and be able to flow freely. Gua sha procedures are intended to remove blockages and stagnation.

For best results, Gua Sha should be performed by a specially trained practitioner familiar with TCM face mapping, Chinese medicine acupressure points and meridians crossing the face, as well as facial fascia releasing techniques necessary for lifting and sculpting.

Reiki

Reiki is an energy healing method that uses gentle touch to help people feel calmer and less stressed. Reiki practitioners use their hands to send energy to your body, to help the flow and balance of your energy to help you heal. Reiki helps people get better by helping them get their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energies in balance.

Reiki helps people relax, reduce stress, and feel better by relieving symptoms. It can:

  • Bring on a state of meditation.
  • Help bone and tissue heal after an injury or surgery.
  • Stimulate the immune system in your body.
  • Help the body heal itself.
  • Help with pain and stress.
  • And More.

Most Reiki sessions last about 50 minutes. During a session, you'll lie on a massage table fully clothed while your reiki practitioner gently places their hands, palms down, on or just above your body in certain energy spots.
