Source Medical Aesthetics is seeking a licensed aesthetician to join our growing office. As part of our aesthetics team, you will build relationships with regular clients as you guide them through their individualized skincare journeys. Tools and strategies at your disposal will include facials, microdermabrasion, various chemical peels, traditional and radiofrequency microneedling and more. Excellence in customer service is a must along with a strong technical knowledge base and skill set. You will be working closely with our other providers and represent an amazing team of professionals who strive to build and maintain our reputation as the best in the business.

Responsibilities:

Aesthetician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform patient evaluations in order to design customized treatment plans for your clients and counsel them in best practices for optimizing their skin
• Perform skincare treatments and collaborate with our medical providers
• Develop a strong working knowledge of our skin care product offerings and confidently promote and and provide recommendations for your clients
• Attend all staff meetings and continuing education workshops
• Maintain a clean, safe and serene environment in the treatment room
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and commitment to providing excellent patient experiences
• Complete chart documentation of each service accurately and completely utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software

Aesthetician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree is a plus
• Current state aesthetician's license in good standing
• Significant work experience as an aesthetician (medical setting a plus)
• Flexible availability, including some Saturdays and evenings
• Basic computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn and utilize our electronic medical record system (PatientNOW)
• Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• High level competency regarding skin care ingredients and basic skin physiology
• Surgical masks are required when in the building and an N-95 mask must be worn for the entirety of all patient interactions.

Experience:

• Aesthetician: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• New Jersey Skin Care Specialist/Cosmetology License (Required)

COVID-19 considerations:

Our office requires universal mask wear for anyone entering the building. High level hospital grade air filtration is employed in all treatment rooms and patient flow is managed to minimize crowding. Employees must provide proof of vaccination.
